About Just Love Coffee
Rob and Emily Webb had always dreamed of adopting one day. After having a daughter, Isabel, in 1998, and a son, Charlie, in 2001, they believed that adoption was still in their future. In 2009 they made that dream a reality, completing their family with the adoption of Tigist and Amelie. Rob boarded a plane for Ethiopia, little knowing that the experience would change not only his life,
but the lives of countless others.
Having heard the stories of sacrifice and determination by other adoptive families and experiencing the financial strains that come with an adoption journey, the proverbial light bulb went off in Rob’s mind and a new business concept took root. He would build a business dedicated to using hand-roasted coffees to help others whose passion was to, well, just love.
With little more than a concept in mind, Rob took on an 800 square foot space, installed a small roaster, developed a few roasting profiles, setup a simple e-commerce storefront, put word out on Facebook, and waited. Soon the orders started coming in and Rob, with the help of family and friends, got them packed, and to the post office for delivery. Those first orders were proof that the concept would work. It may seem crazy that someone would start a for-profit business bent on giving a portion of its profit away, but that’s exactly how Just Love Coffee Roasters launched. In fact, within its first year, the company was able to give back nearly $100,000.
From that fateful flight to Ethiopia, Rob built a business that continues to expand through online sales, wholesale distribution, and franchise development. Every step of the journey has been built on love.

I’ve been blessed to be part of this brand for nearly nine of its 11 years and it has been amazing to watch Just Love grow while never losing our mission to make a positive impact on the world. Everyone involved with the brand shares in the core mission to “Be a catalyst for love.” Whether that is done by supporting a family hoping to adopt a child, helping a non-profit looking to positively impact the world, or supporting the dreams of an entrepreneur opening a Just Love Cafe to support their family and local community—there’s something different about Just Love. We hope our customers can feel it too. Thanks for the interview and spreading…dare I write it…the Love.
We can feel the love as well! Thank you for having a mission-focused business.
